About Us
Joint Civil Aid Corps (JCAC or the Corps)
Registered Charity No. 1160699
The Joint Civil Aid Corps (JCAC) is a national Civil Defence organisation dedicated to building resilience, unity, and principled service across the United Kingdom. Founded to honour the legacy of British Civil Defence and renew its purpose for the modern age, JCAC provides structured training, community support, and emergency preparedness through a network of volunteer-led branches.
As a registered charity (No. 1160699), the Corps operates with a clear moral compass and a commitment to public duty. Our members – drawn from all walks of life – serve in specialist roles across Guardianship, Structural Support, Welfare, Compliance, and Community Liaison. We work collaboratively with local authorities, resilience forums, and partner organisations to strengthen civil readiness and uphold the dignity of service.
The Corps is non-partisan, inclusive, and values driven. We believe that citizenship, not labels, defines our shared responsibility – and we stand ready to support all who live in Britain in good faith. Whether responding to crisis, supporting community events, or mentoring the next generation of civic leaders, JCAC exists to serve.
